Materials Required:

• Kandla Grey Sandstone Paving Slabs (Qty: 44 square metres)
  Kandla Grey Indian sandstone, calibrated, riven finish, nominal 20mm thickness. Customer to select slab size/format (e.g. 600×600, 600×900, or mixed random). Supplied per m².
• MOT Type 1 Sub-base (Qty: 10.1 tonnes)
  MOT Type 1 crushed limestone or granite, supplied loose or in bulk bags. Compacted in two 60mm layers.
• Sharp Sand (Grit Sand) (Qty: 3.2 tonnes)
  Washed sharp sand / grit sand for semi-dry mortar bedding course. Do NOT substitute building sand.
• Cement 25kg Bags (Qty: 110 bags)
  General purpose Portland cement, 25kg bags. Used for mortar bedding and concrete haunching.
• Ballast (20mm Gravel Mix) (Qty: 0.8 tonnes)
  10mm or 20mm all-in ballast for concrete edge haunching.
• SBR Bonding Agent / Slurry Primer (Qty: 20 litres)
  SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) liquid bonding agent, e.g. Larsen SBR or equivalent. Mixed with cement to form a slurry primer applied to underside of each slab immediately before laying. Essential for natural stone adhesion.
• Polymeric Brush-in Jointing Compound (Qty: 6 tubs)
  Brush-in polymeric jointing compound for natural stone, e.g. Rompox Easy or Azpects EASYJoint, 20kg tub. Coverage approximately 8m² per tub at standard joint widths of 5–10mm.
• Weed Suppressing Membrane (Qty: 44 square metres)
  Heavy-duty woven geotextile weed membrane, minimum 100gsm, laid over compacted sub-base before mortar bed. Overlaps of 150mm at joins.
• Plastic Edge Restraint / Paving Edging (Qty: 26.6 metres)
  Heavy-duty plastic or aluminium paving edge restraint with fixing stakes, suitable for natural stone patio perimeter. Bedded on concrete haunch.
• Edge Restraint Fixing Stakes / Pins (Qty: 75 each)
  Galvanised steel fixing stakes/pins for plastic edge restraint, typically 200–250mm long. Supplied separately or with edging.
