Materials Required:

• Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone Paving Flags (Qty: 34 square metres)
  Kandla Grey natural riven Indian sandstone, calibrated 22mm thickness, mixed-size project pack (typically 600×900, 600×600, 600×290, 290×290mm). BS EN 1341 natural stone paving.
• MOT Type 1 Crushed Limestone Sub-Base (Qty: 6.5 tonnes)
  MOT Type 1 crushed limestone to Highways specification, 40mm down to dust, suitable for compacted sub-base beneath paving.
• Sharp Sand (Bedding Layer) (Qty: 2.5 tonnes)
  Washed sharp sand, concreting grade, suitable for mortar bedding and screeding beneath natural stone paving.
• Sharp Sand (Mortar Mix) (Qty: 1.5 tonnes)
  Washed sharp sand for semi-dry mortar bedding mix (4:1 sharp sand:cement ratio).
• Cement (Mortar Bed) (Qty: 10 bags)
  Portland cement CEM I 42.5N, 25kg bags, for semi-dry mortar bedding mix at 4:1 sharp sand:cement ratio.
• Polymeric Jointing Compound (Qty: 5 bags)
  Brush-in polymeric jointing compound suitable for natural stone paving, 20kg bags, colour: grey/dark grey to complement Kandla Grey sandstone. e.g. Rompox Easy or Azpects EASYJoint.
• Paving Spacers / Joint Pegs (Qty: 200 each)
  Plastic paving spacers 10mm, suitable for natural stone flags, to maintain consistent joint width during laying.
• Geotextile Membrane (Qty: 35 square metres)
  Non-woven geotextile separation membrane, 100gsm minimum, to be laid between formation level and MOT Type 1 sub-base to prevent sub-base migration into subsoil.
• Sandstone Patio Sealer / Impregnator (Qty: 5 litres)
  Natural stone impregnating sealer, colour-enhancing or natural finish, suitable for Indian sandstone. e.g. Lithofin MN Stain-Stop or LTP Mattstone. Applied after pointing has fully cured.
• Building Sand (Pointing wash — optional mix) (Qty: 0 bags)
  Not required — polymeric jointing compound specified. Included as zero quantity for reference only.
