Materials Required:

• CLS Timber 100×50mm (4×2) (Qty: 51 metres)
  Regularised CLS 100×50mm (nominal 4×2), C16 or C24 graded, kiln dried. Available in 2.4m, 3.0m, or 4.8m lengths — buy in lengths that minimise waste.
• Standard Plasterboard 12.5mm (Qty: 8 sheets)
  British Gypsum Wallboard or equivalent, 12.5mm thick, 2400×1200mm sheets (tapered edge). Grey face outward.
• Drywall Screws 38mm (Black Phosphate) (Qty: 1 boxes)
  38mm × 3.5mm black phosphate drywall screws, box of 500. For fixing 12.5mm plasterboard to 100×50mm CLS timber at 300mm centres.
• Construction Screws 100mm (Qty: 1 boxes)
  100mm × 5.0mm structural timber screws (e.g. Spax or equivalent), box of 100. For fixing studs and noggins to plates and for assembling the frame.
• Frame Fixings / Concrete Screws 100mm (Qty: 20 each)
  Concrete/masonry frame fixings 7.5×100mm (e.g. Rawlplug Uno or Fischer FUR) with plugs, for fixing head plate to ceiling and sole plate to floor. Suitable for concrete or timber floor/ceiling construction.
• Scrim Tape (Self-Adhesive Jointing Tape) (Qty: 1 rolls)
  90mm wide self-adhesive fibreglass scrim tape, 90m roll. For reinforcing plasterboard butt and tapered joints prior to jointing compound application.
• Jointing Compound (Easifill or equivalent) (Qty: 2 bags)
  Knauf Easifill 25kg bag or British Gypsum Gyproc Easi-Fill 60, 25kg. For filling and finishing all taped joints and screw dimples on both faces.
• Acoustic Mineral Wool Insulation (Qty: 9.6 square metres)
  50mm acoustic mineral wool slab or roll (e.g. Rockwool RWA45 or Knauf Acoustic Roll 50mm), cut to fit between studs at 400mm centres. Recommended for a bedroom partition to provide sound attenuation.
• Decorator's Caulk / Flexible Filler (Qty: 2 tubes)
  White decorator's acrylic caulk, 310ml cartridge (e.g. Everbuild 700 or Geocel Trade Mate). For sealing the perimeter of the new wall to ceiling, floor, and flanking walls before decoration.
• 100mm Primed MDF Torus Skirting (Qty: 8 metres)
  To finish the base of both faces of the new stud wall where it meets the floor — approx 4m per face = 8m total
